Every guest (hunters as well as other guests) will be required to sign and execute this Disclaimer and Waiver of Liability and Indemnity. Visitors who do not adhere to this regulation will be denied entry.

No fires are permitted outside the dedicated fire places/braai areas in and around the chalets and/or the camp. No fires in the veld are allowed.

Guests are to refrain from littering. All paper and other litter should be collected and discarded at the lodge or camp.

Hunting takes place during week days & Saturdays 07:00 – 13:00 14:00 – 17:00 13-:00 – 14:00 - Lunch No hunting on Sundays.

Rifles will be shot in the day before or the morning of the hunt under the supervision of the hunting guide. The number of hunters in the veld will be determined by the guide on the day of the hunt.

Hunting is only allowed under the supervision of the guide. For the safety of all hunters and the guide, the bridge of your rifle will be open at all times except after the animal hunted, is identified and you are ready to shoot.

Game will only be shot by a caliber rifle that is legal in terms of the rules of Free State Nature Department or similar authority.

For the safety of the hunter and other people in the party, a hunter is not allowed to leave his hunting point, unless approved by the guide or hunting with a Professional Hunter for Trophy Animals.

The firing of rifles is only allowed during the hunting time-slot and on the shooting range.

All rifles should have a silencer.

After a shot or shots has been fired, please determine whether the animal was wounded. This should be done by going to the spot where the animal was when fired at, and check for traces of blood.

No liquor is allowed during the hunting period and no person under the influence of liquor will be allowed to engage in a hunting trip.

No rifle may be loaded unless the animal to be shot has been identified.

The guide is in charge of the hunt and all orders from the guide shall be adhered to.

Please leave only your footprints on the farm. Pick up all cartridge shells, paper and litter.

If an animal has been wounded, all other hunting activities will cease until the wounded animal has been culled. The guide will determine whether an animal is wounded or not. If determined as such and the animal cannot be found, the hunter will be responsible for payment of the value of such an animal.

Hunting activities will only progress and hunters will only be allowed on a hunt, once the indemnity form has been duly signed.

A species hunting list and species list will be available from management.

The owners and employees accept no responsibility for any injuries, mistakes, negligent acts, damage and/or death to any visitor and/or property caused by the negligence or negligent act of any person.

All game hunted stays the property of the owner until paid in full. Only game species specified in the hunting list as provided may be hunted.

No rounds may be fired at any plants, trees or other animal or bird not specified in the hunting list provided. A penalty equal to three times the replacement value of the animal shall be payable. plus transportation costs of such animal.

Any game wounded and not located will be deemed as legitimately hunted by the Hunter and the Hunter shall be liable to pay the listed price for the animal concerned. Any blood, bone, hide, flesh or hair of an animal which may be found will be deemed to constitute satisfactory proof that the animal had been wounded. If an animal has been wounded, it will be the responsibility of the Hunter concerned with the assistance of the PH and field guides to locate the wounded animal. All reasonable efforts shall be made to locate a wounded animal. The Hunter concerned shall not be permitted to continue with hunting activities until a wounded animal has been located or until a PH decides that a wounded animal cannot be located despite all reasonable efforts to locate such animal.

The owner has the right to withdraw hunters, observers, and guides at any time and/or halt hunting activities until wounded animals have been tracked down.

No SMOKING in the veld while on the active hunt.
