Designed with your comfort and convenience in mind, both houses offer everything you need for a relaxing and memorable stay, whether you’re here for a hunting adventure or simply to unwind.

Step outside and enjoy the spacious outdoor areas, complete with braai facilities and comfortable furniture, perfect for savoring meals under the open sky. Firewood and ice are provided, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the tranquil surroundings without worrying about the details.

Inside, each house boasts a welcoming braai and dining room area, ideal for gathering with friends and family. The full kitchens are equipped with all the essentials, including a gas freezer, fridge, and everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals, whether you choose to cook indoors or out.

To ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible, both houses are fully serviced with daily cleaning, so you can focus on relaxation. Modern amenities like full DSTV, Wi-Fi, and solar-heated geysers for hot water add to your convenience. In the colder months, extra blankets are provided to keep you warm and cozy.

From the moment you arrive, you’ll find that everything has been thoughtfully prepared for your stay. All linen is provided, including towels and additional blankets, so you can settle in and enjoy the serene beauty of the Karoo. No matter which house you choose, rest assured that both offer the same high level of comfort and convenience, making Hartsrust Farm your perfect home away from home.

Choose Between Two Spacious Houses

At Hartsrust Farm, guests can choose between two comfortable houses, each offering spacious accommodations with distinct features. Goodhope can sleep up to 12 people and the Hartsrust House, on the other hand, can sleep up to 16 guests. Both houses provide the perfect blend of comfort and convenience, tailored to suit the size and needs of your group.

Hartsrust HOUSE

Hartsrust House offers a spacious and comfortable retreat, perfectly suited for large groups. The main house sleeps 16 guests.

Step outside and enjoy the expansive grounds, featuring a bathroom building with 2 showers and 2 toilets to ensure everyone’s comfort. The house’s thoughtfully designed spaces include all 3/4 beds, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a day of adventure.

The flat also boasts an en-suite bathroom for added privacy and convenience. With a full bathroom inside the main house, complete with a bath, shower, and toilet, Hartsrust House is equipped to meet all your needs for a memorable stay.

Hunting Experiences

Choose from a wide range of hunting experiences designed to match your style and challenge level. Engage in long-range hunting, take on the thrill of walk & stalk, or try voorsit jag for a more traditional approach. For those who prefer bush walking or setting up by waterbanks, species like Waterbucks and Lechwe provide exciting opportunities. Our Springbuck Slam, featuring all four color variants, and the Wildebeest Slam, with all three color variants, offer unique collections at unbeatable value

Shooting Range and Equipment

Before heading out, hone your skills at our on-site shooting range, which offers distances from 100m to 1km. Whether you need a shotgun or a rifle, we have a selection available for hire to ensure you’re fully equipped for your hunt.

Processing and Taxidermy Services

Make the most of your hunt with our additional services. Caping services are available for an extra charge, and we can arrange taxidermist services to preserve your trophies. Our on-site Slaghuis ensures that all meat processing is handled efficiently, at a rate of R60 per kilogram

Accommodation and Catering

After a day of hunting, relax in one of our comfortable Karoo guest houses, Goodhope or Hartsrust, each offering a perfect retreat with all the modern amenities. Daily cleaning services are included to keep your space tidy. Enjoy fully catered lunches in the veld or by the riverbanks if weather permits; otherwise, meals will be served at the guest house. For a true taste of the Karoo, traditional cuisine for breakfast and dinner is available on request at an additional cost
