This malaria-free game reserve comprises 2 340 hectares of mainly African Savannah. Making your way over the steep and rocky terrain of the koppies, you will travel through amongst other indigenous bushes and plants, Wild Olive, White Stinkwood, Karee Trees and sweet grass.

The Free State is rich in a wide variety of game species that freely roam on the reserve including Sables, Eland, Gemsbuck, Zebra Gold/Black/Blue Wildebeest, Rooihartebees, Impala, Springbuck, Waterbuck and Blesbuck.

Letsatsi Bush Camp

Hidden in the tranquility of a secluded valley, the Letsatsi Bush Camp can only be reached by descending down a sturdy wooden staircase, punctuated with rest stops and observation decks. Stone and wooden walkways form an intricate network of pathways that connect the tents to one another, to the unique African bush styled ablution facilities and dining area. The outdoor fire-pit and is ideal for evening relaxation and alfresco dining under the starlit African skies. The tented camp is designed for family- and group getaways. The Bush Camp can accommodate up to 44 guests in tents, which all have thatched coverings and are furnished with twin beds, wardrobes, electricity, tea / coffee making facilities, electric blankets and turndown goodies.

Main Lodge

The main lodge is complemented with 28 luxury, individual African styled, thatched roof chalets each with a private sundeck that offers a spectacular view of nature at its best. In conjunction with being equipped with every comfort such as ceiling fans, bar fridges, coffee/ tea facilities and electric blankets.

ACCOMMODATION FEATURES:

16 Chalets each have a double room, an en-suite bathroom with a corner bath and a shower as well as a small adjacent room in case of smaller children that share with their parents. 5 Chalets each have 2 spacious double rooms, each with a separate bathroom, a small kitchenette and a lounge. Bathrooms boast both showers and comfortable bathes. 6 Chalets each have 3 comfortable double rooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, a small kitchenette and a lounge ideal for a family getaway. The VIP suite is equipped with a small kitchenette, a lounge, 2 spacious double rooms, 2 separate bathrooms, a spa bath and air conditioners.

Terms & Conditions

We have the following requirements:

A reasonable knowledge of marksmanship.
No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the hunting field during the day of the hunt.
No shots should be fired "into the herd" or group. All wounded animals must be found.
Safety is required at all times.
Groups must consist of 4 – 12 people.
We expect hunters to respect our property, housing, and wildlife at all times.
No hunting on Sundays.
Children under 16 years must be accompanied by their parent or guardian and are responsible for any sunburn or injuries that may/can occur during the hunt.

Wood is provided, and extra wood is available at R50.00 per bag.
