Middelplaas is a privately owned game /crop farm, situated approximately 143 Km from Pretoria. 29 Km from the nearest town Nylstroom, on the R33, Marble Hall direction. Comfortable and conveniently furnished to ensure an ideal hunting trip for the whole family. Catering options available on request. No extra costs for guinea fowl / bird hunting and fishing. Terms & Conditions
• Idemnity document must be signed by each hunter in the hunting group. Each adult member of the group must personally fill out and sign the form. The parent, guardian, or supervisor of minors must sign the form on their behalf.
• Firearm licenses must be available at all times upon the owner's request.
• All firearms must be stored in a safe when not in use.
• Each hunter must ensure that all firearms are sighted in before the hunt begins (location will be indicated by the owner).
• No hunting without silencers is allowed within the Nyala camp.
• No person under the influence of alcohol will be allowed to hunt.
• No hunting is allowed on Sundays.
• No person may hunt without a guide.
• Wounded or potentially wounded animals will be fully paid for, as decided by the guide and/or owner.
• If an animal is shot and it cannot be proven that the shot missed, the full price for the animal will be charged.
• The hunter is responsible for the shot, not the guide.
• Only species indicated on the hunting price list may be hunted.
• Night hunting with a spotlight is illegal and not allowed.
• Firearms must be safe at all times in and around the hunting field.
• The minimum caliber allowed for small game is .243 and .270 for large game.
• The owner must be informed immediately after a shot is fired.
• Visitors who smoke must ensure that cigarette butts are properly extinguished and not discarded carelessly.
• Visitors must ensure that the fire is completely extinguished when the boma area is finished being used.
• Only bookings of 4 or more hunters will be accepted over weekends; smaller groups are welcome during weekdays.
• The full period for which the booking is made must be paid for—whether the hunting group arrives late or departs early.
• All accounts must be fully settled before leaving the property.
• Only cash or electronic transfers will be accepted.
• The right of admission is reserved.
